Job Title: Event Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for the daily efficient running of Monash Club.

Your primary focus will be on managing multiple event spaces while ensuring the lounge and restaurant areas continue to provide excellent service. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with customers and be a leading example for the team.

You will collaborate closely with both the Monash Club Supervisor and venue staff to ensure that client expectations are exceeded in terms of customer service and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple event spaces to ensure seamless delivery of events
  • Supervise staff to maintain high levels of customer service
  • Ensure effective cash handling, inventory management, and sales growth strategies
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to supervise discounts, end-of-day close, cash handling
  • Ability to increase sales and establish return business
  • Confidence in liaising with internal and external clients
  • Astute attention to detail in all areas
