Job Opportunity

A senior associate role has become available in environmental approvals due to the growth of our transport project pipeline.

This is an opportunity for you to leverage your experience, shape strategy and mentor the next generation. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a portfolio of projects in the road, rail and transmission sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex planning and environmental approvals processes.
  • Harness understanding of statutory frameworks to guide large-scale transport corridors from concept to consent.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with public authorities, private developers and industry partners.
  • Mentor and develop emerging professionals, fostering a supportive high-performing culture.
Requirements

We are seeking an environmental consultant with substantial experience in environmental planning and approvals, with a track record in transport infrastructure.

  • 10+ years in environmental planning, with a focus on major linear infrastructure projects in Queensland and/or nationally.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects and drive high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
  • Expertise in Queensland's environmental assessment frameworks and planning legislation, with ability to navigate evolving statutory environments.
