About The Position

They work closely with inmates, their families, and centre staff to resolve complaints and monitor conditions. This involves conducting regular visits to custodial centres across New South Wales, providing a critical link between the community and correctional services.

  • Successful applicants are typically assigned to one centre for up to four years, visiting regularly to build relationships and gather feedback.
  • Applications are encouraged from individuals passionate about promoting fairness, equality, and justice within our communities.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, women, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds are strongly urged to apply.

Essential Skills
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, as well as proficiency in computer software and online platforms.
