About the Opportunity

As a part-time Lifestyle Services Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing activities and therapies that enhance their physical and emotional well-being.

  • Create and deliver group and individual recreational activities tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Coordinate activities and therapies as directed by the Lifestyle Coordinator, ensuring they meet the changing needs of our residents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities and therapies, adhering to relevant Acts and ethical standards.
  • Foster community engagement opportunities for our residents.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, delivering, and monitoring group and individual recreational activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Ensuring all activities and therapies comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
About You

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Leisure & Lifestyle/Divisional Therapy.
  • Any other relevant qualification from a registered trade organisation (preferred but not essential).
  • Demonstrated experience working in an aged care environment.
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent communication style, able to communicate effectively with people of all levels.
