About This Opportunity
The role offers an exciting challenge for a Mental Health Specialist to work within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, focusing on adult populations.
This position involves collaborating with various support services and carers to provide comprehensive, multiservice care to individuals with complex needs.
Our team provides services such as brief intervention, complex case management, and specialized therapies including DBT, CBT-e, SSCM, and EMDR. Staff have access to regular clinical supervision, multidisciplinary case reviews, and wellness activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
This is an identified position under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act; only suitably qualified Aboriginal people are encouraged to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality mental health services to adults in a community setting
- Collaborating with support services and carers to provide comprehensive care
- Providing brief interventions and complex case management
- Offering specialized therapies such as DBT, CBT-e, SSCM, and EMDR
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements
