About The RoleThe position offers an exciting opportunity for a Multidisciplinary Mental Health Clinician to work within a community mental health team, focusing on adult populations. The role involves collaborating with a wide network of support services and carers to provide comprehensive, multiservice care to consumers with complex needs.
Bathurst Community Mental Health comprises a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Psychology, Social Work, and Psychiatry, supported by senior clinicians. The role involves acute care, clinical management, and developing skills in mental health assessment, therapeutic interventions, and critical thinking.
The team provides services such as brief intervention, complex case management, and specialized therapies including DBT, CBT-e, SSCM, and EMDR. Staff have access to regular clinical supervision, multidisciplinary case reviews, and wellness activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
