Multidisciplinary Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the Bathurst community. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to consumers with complex needs through a range of interventions, including brief therapy sessions, complex case management, and specialized therapies like DBT, CBT-e, SSCM, and EMDR.
The position requires collaboration with carers, support services, and other stakeholders to deliver multiservice care that caters to the diverse needs of the community. Regular clinical supervision, multidisciplinary case reviews, and wellness activities will promote a positive work environment.
Main responsibilities include providing acute care, developing skills in mental health assessment, therapeutic interventions, and critical thinking. To excel in this role, candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
