About the Role

As a highly skilled in-house legal counsel, you will provide expert advice and support to clients across various industries and specializations.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate risks, and contribute to the overall success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive legal advice on commercial matters, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, marketing compliance, technology, and data privacy.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to help clients achieve their strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and industry trends.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as a lawyer.

Prior experience working with a reputable law firm or in-house legal team is essential.

You should have a strong understanding of Australian law and regulations.

In addition, you will require excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities is also necessary.

Finally, a proactive and positive attitude is crucial for success in this role.
