We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Wine Store Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the wine business, you will be responsible for serving customers, managing stock control, assessing wine, and maintaining the website with tasting notes.
Key Responsibilities:- Serving Customers: Deliver exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for every customer visit.
- Packing Orders: Efficiently pack online orders, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery.
- Stock Control: Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring accurate stock control at all times.
- Wine Assessment: Assess wine samples, updating the website with detailed tasting notes that showcase your expertise.
- Hold a WSET qualification or similar wine certification to demonstrate your knowledge of wine.
- Have a thirst for learning about wine and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
- Exhibit an energetic 'can-do' attitude, able to adapt to variable tasks each day.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently if required.
