Job Title:

Life Skills Coordinator

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a diverse range of lifestyle programs that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure resident-centered care
  • Coordinating bus excursions and other community-based activities
  • Supporting the orientation and training of new staff and volunteers
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants will require:

  • A Certificate IV in a relevant area (such as Allied Health or Leisure)
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role within residential aged care
  • Significant experience working with people living with dementia
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
