Water Quality Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our aquaculture operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our prawn stock.

  • Conduct daily water quality sampling and analysis, including microalgae and phytoplankton identification.
  • Operate and maintain cutting-edge automatic water quality monitoring systems.
  • Monitor and interpret analytics, graphs, and system alarms via computer and iPad.
  • Develop and execute the farm's water quality strategy to optimise prawn health and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for water quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Proficient computer and iPad skills for data monitoring and reporting.
  • Reliable, resilient, and flexible with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • A current driver's licence (a forklift licence is highly advantageous).
