Family Dispute Resolution Specialist

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to families experiencing relationship breakdowns.

As a specialist in family dispute resolution, you will work with couples and families who are separating or separated to negotiate parenting and/or property arrangements. You will also assist families in focusing on the best interests of children and young people throughout any ongoing family conflict.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification and relevant experience in social sciences, psychology, or law. They will also possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong work ethic and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide family dispute resolution services to couples and families who are separating or separated
  • Negotiate parenting and/or property arrangements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Assist families in focusing on the best interests of children and young people throughout any ongoing family conflict
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to families
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in social sciences, psychology, or law
  • Relevant experience in family dispute resolution or a related field
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
