Our programs aims to strengthen families through evidence-based, relationship-focused support that promotes safety, wellbeing, positive parenting and care for the child and young person.

What You Will Do

The Family Programs Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of a suite of family support services, including Family Wellbeing Services, Integrated Family Support Services, Family Preservation and Restoration, Parenting Education Programs, Carers and Kindship Supports and Bringing Baby Home. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with contractual obligations, and alignment with CatholicCare's mission and values.).

You will:

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary teams delivering trauma-informed, child-centred services.
  • Ensure programs meet contractual, legislative, and best practice standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with Child Safety Services and community organisations.
  • Drive continuous improvement, service development, and staff capability.
  • Contribute to CatholicCare's senior leadership team and positive workplace culture.

To be successful in this role you will be a compassionate and experienced leader with:

  • Proven experience in managing child and family services.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.
  • Excellent communication, strategic planning, and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • Commitment to child safety, family wellbeing, and CatholicCare's values.
