Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ministerial briefings, correspondence and information.
  • Work closely with ministerial offices, the Secretary's office and senior executives to ensure the department and its agencies provide coordinated, insightful and professional advice to portfolio ministers.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective leadership and people management skills to support the development of capability across the team.
  • Supervise team outputs and assist in the allocation and prioritization of work to ensure delivery against deadlines and quality standards.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal and external business areas and prioritize understanding stakeholder issues.
  • Draft, edit and review policy and process documents, briefs, correspondence and other written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, policy alignment and compliance.
