Electrical Project Supervisor Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Improvement: Engage in reviews with management to establish areas of improvement in costs and operational efficiencies. Provide feedback on potential improvement opportunities. Continuous awareness of business improvement opportunities in day-to-day operations.
  • Quality/QC: Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance to quality systems. Communicate with client representatives to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve issues, and identify variations or additional work. Ensure all electrical installation work meets statutory requirements and site quality standards.
  • People and Culture: Facilitate prestart meetings with the crew. Supervise, coach, and mentor direct reports. Ensure site workers have necessary competencies. Identify training needs and organize training. Review performance and manage any performance issues. Maintain high communication and cooperative working relationships on site. Be proactive in resolving workforce issues and concerns.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Assist the project manager in managing complaints, compliments, and feedback process relating to the project.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS): Comply with relevant codes of practice. Take reasonable care to protect health and safety of yourself and other workers on site. Participate in rehabilitation programs as required. Contribute to identifying, recording, and managing incidents, accidents, and hazards.
