Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join our team and take on a critical role in managing and negotiating contracts on behalf of our organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to utilise their expertise in contract administration, negotiation, and management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, interpreting, and maintaining contracts, as well as reviewing and analysing contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations. They will also be expected to provide guidance and support to team members regarding contract management processes and best practices.

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to address contract-related queries and issues. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities will enable you to interpret complex contract terms and convey information clearly to various departments within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, interpret, and maintain contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Analyse and review contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with organisational goals
  • Negotiate contract variations with stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to contract management
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address contract-related queries and issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration and negotiation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office
