Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

Role Overview

This is a critical role for delivering high-profile infrastructure projects in growth corridors and charming small roads. As a Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects including roads, drainage, and bridges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital works from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders to deliver community-focused outcomes.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges with creativity and sound judgement.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across our infrastructure portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in civil project management, ideally within local government or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders and the community.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  • A current Victorian driver's licence.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality public infrastructure.
