Accounts Payable Specialist

Hanson Australia is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our National Accounts Payable team at our Shared Services Centre in Parramatta, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle and resolve suppliers' queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support compliance to policies and procedures for Accounts Payable processes.
- Inform and escalate any issues relating to purchase orders and suppliers' invoice processes.
- Process invoices with strict attention to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure open lines of communication and resolve supplier requests in a timely manner.
- Action business requests in accordance with Hanson's policy and guidelines.
- Ensure governance, integrity, and completeness by following processes on problem invoices and price updating.
- Monitor and liaise across the business to resolve parked/blocked invoices.
- Perform suppliers' statements reconciliations, follow-up missing invoices and balances.
- Review prepared Reconciliation monthly and action outstanding items.
- Undertake clearing SAP Staging Area processes to action incomplete data, remove duplicate and return to supplier incomplete invoices.
- 1-2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Experience in AP analysis preferred.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Intermediate Excel Skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strong commitment & ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude with a pro-active approach.
