Financial Capability Case Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Financial Capability Case Worker. In this role, you will work with people who are struggling with financial difficulties or crisis, providing them with the support and guidance they need to manage their finances effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their own unique challenges and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver financial literacy education, information, and coaching to individuals and groups.
  2. Assess clients' financial situations and develop personalized plans to help them achieve their financial goals.
  3. Work closely with clients to identify and address any barriers that may be preventing them from achieving financial stability.
  4. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Community Services, incorporating the three financial literacy units, or willingness to complete within six months of being employed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated money management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people suffering difficulties and crisis.
  • 12+ months experience in a relevant field.
