Job Description:
As a Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing commercial finance deals for our clients. You will work closely with business owners, lenders, and financial institutions to identify the best financing solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, foundational knowledge of commercial finance products, and the ability to close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial consultations with new clients to understand their business needs and financial objectives.
Guide clients through the finance application and onboarding process efficiently and professionally.
Action lending leads and applications.
Conduct basic financial analysis and assist in recommending suitable loan products.
Actively manage lending pipeline and work deals to settlement, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems.
Proactively follow up on customers' applications to obtain timely approvals.
Provide timely updates to customers on their loan application stages.
Work on existing database to identify opportunities for re-engagement.
Engage with warm enquiry customers and convert them into opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the financing process.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
No prior experience necessary; however, candidates with some prior experience in commercial finance or a related industry would be preferred.
Passionate about servicing customers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate finance jargon into simplified terms.
Good documentation skills with attention to detail.
Positive, solution-oriented mindset.
Must be innovative, smart, and able to think outside the box.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
