Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • A minimum of 2 years of residential credit assessment experience
  • Delegated Lending Authority
  • Experience assessing complex loans, including bridging loans, commercial, trust, and company loans
  • Confidence in communicating with customers and brokers to deliver decision outcomes
  • Ability to work within policy and make recommendations for improvement
  • Experience managing a pipeline of assessment applications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive and self-motivation to exceed targets and strive for excellence
The Role

As a Credit Assessor, your key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering end-to-end services for consumers, from application assessment to fulfillment
  • Communicating with customers and brokers to workshop applications and provide decision outcomes
  • Assessing consumer residential home loan applications within our credit risk appetite and decision-making authority
  • Managing a pipeline of applications, ensuring a seamless customer journey
  • Maintaining risk and compliance standards
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to team performance
  • Liaising with clients in a professional manner and providing regular updates on application progress
