**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of materials and components to ensure conformance to customer specifications.

This role requires a team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform quality control inspections of materials and components for compliance with customer specifications.
  • Enter inspection data into log books and internal database systems in real-time.
  • Provide feedback to engineers and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Conduct visual inspections of printed circuit board assemblies at various stages of the assembly process following industry standards.
  • Coordinate rework and ensure completed products meet specifications.
  • Perform first article inspections and process audits as required.
  • Conduct customer quality assurance (CQA), in-process, final, and incoming inspections.
  • Verify the use of proper equipment and ensure adherence to project requirements.
  • Ensure proper staging of products and coordination of processing steps.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the accuracy of work-in-progress.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (electronic focus) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in quality assurance in a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in quality control standards (e.g. IPC-A-600/610/620).
