**Job Description:**

The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the framework for Transition Management. This involves ensuring timely resolution of transition management issues, providing consistent, robust, and repeatable processes to minimize impact on service quality, and improving operational and delivery efficiency.

This position will involve broad stakeholder management with internal and external parties, requiring strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and ability to build relationships. The successful candidate will lead, manage and mentor staff committed to delivering a diverse and dynamic work program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective transition management strategies and processes
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of wider transition management strategies, objectives, and industry trends in IT service management
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transitioning of project outcomes into operations

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous professional experience working within a project or ITIL Service management area
  • Experience in operating model change management and transition from project delivery to an operational environment where people, process and technology are equally considered
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding the integration between various ITIL Service management disciplines and essentials for projects successfully transitioned to operations
  • Good working knowledge of a broad range of skills including software, systems and enterprise architecture, ITIL service management
