The role of Educational Leader involves overseeing educational programs, mentoring educators and fostering strong relationships with children, families and the community.
This position requires a leader to design, implement and oversee high-quality educational programs that meet the needs and interests of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain effective educational programs in collaboration with educators.
- Mentor educators in curriculum development, documentation and reflective practices.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and frameworks such as the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Lead the development and execution of the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Promote and champion the YA Evolution (0–4 years) and Transition to School (4–5 years) Programs.
- Model and promote core values in everyday practice.
- Engage in regular reflective practice and professional development.
- Advocate for early childhood education.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the EYLF and National Law.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience in an early childhood setting.
- Ability to inspire and build educator capacity through professional development and reflective practices.
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing in a culturally inclusive environment.
