Leadership Role:

The role of Educational Leader involves overseeing educational programs, mentoring educators and fostering strong relationships with children, families and the community.

This position requires a leader to design, implement and oversee high-quality educational programs that meet the needs and interests of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective educational programs in collaboration with educators.
  • Mentor educators in curriculum development, documentation and reflective practices.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and frameworks such as the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Lead the development and execution of the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Promote and champion the YA Evolution (0–4 years) and Transition to School (4–5 years) Programs.
  • Model and promote core values in everyday practice.
  • Engage in regular reflective practice and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Advocate for early childhood education.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the EYLF and National Law.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Ability to inspire and build educator capacity through professional development and reflective practices.
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing in a culturally inclusive environment.
