Job Title: Educational Director

This role oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops high-quality educational programs that cater to the needs and interests of children and families.
  • Mentors educators in curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practices.
  • Fosters strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the community.
  • Supports compliance with the National Law and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Led the development and execution of the centre's Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Champions the YA Evolution Program.
  • Models Young Academics' core values in everyday practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the EYLF, National Law, and Regulations.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid, paid Working with Children Check.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience in an early childhood setting.
