Personal Support Worker Opportunity

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Personal Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to residents in their daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualized care delivery
  • Support residents' care needs in line with their care plan
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment
  • Advocate for the rights of older people
  • Provide personal care and support tailored to residents' individual needs
  • Administer medication as required

Requirements:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination per our policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks
  • Willingness to attend a compulsory induction program at our training institute
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)

  • Effective communication skills and ability to develop understanding relationships with residents
  • Previous experience administering medications (desirable)
