Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity

This is a compelling opportunity for ambitious researchers to contribute to groundbreaking cancer research in South Australia.

A prominent medical research institute is seeking skilled postdoctoral researchers with experience in molecular and cell biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, and DNA/RNA/protein extraction and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory expertise in a wide range of standard molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with complex model systems both in vitro and in vivo.
  • Evidence of contribution towards research relevant to the field of study/interest, such as publications, conference presentations, seminars, reports or professional or technical contributions.
  • Ability to provide advice, support and supervise Higher Degree by Research students.
  • Experience in collaborating locally and nationally in the interest of enhancing research outcomes.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new techniques and to tackle experimental bottlenecks creatively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and good understanding of basic statistics.
