Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Researchers to join our team in the field of cancer research. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting new projects investigating the role of the immune system in cancer.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting research in a wide range of molecular and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, and DNA / RNA / protein extraction and analyses.

They will also be expected to contribute towards research relevant to the field of study/interest, such as publications, conference presentations, seminars, reports or professional or technical contributions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Laboratory experience in a wide range of standard molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with complex model systems both in vitro and in vivo.
  • Evidence of contribution towards research relevant to the field of study/interest.
  • Ability to provide advice, support and supervise Higher Degree by Research students.
  • Experience in collaborating locally and nationally in the interest of enhancing research outcomes.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new techniques and to tackle experimental bottlenecks creatively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and good understanding of basic statistics.
