Job Description:

The role involves undertaking innovative research in the field of tumour inflammation and immunotherapy.

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to cutting-edge projects that aim to understand the mechanisms by which uncontrolled activation of key regulators of the immune system lead to inflammation-associated cancers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing molecular and cell biology techniques for research purposes.
  • Working with complex model systems both in vitro and in vivo to gain a deeper understanding of cancer development.
  • Contributing to research relevant to the field through publications, conference presentations, seminars, reports, or professional contributions.
  • Providing advice, support, and supervision to Higher Degree by Research students.
  • Collaborating with colleagues locally and nationally to enhance research outcomes.
