About This Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our organisation as a strategic workforce planning specialist.

Job Description:

  • You will work closely with community leaders to develop workforce plans aligned with each service stream's goals.
  • Your role will involve partnering with senior leaders, HR, talent acquisition, and learning teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for translating service model changes into workforce implications and using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • You will design and implement tools, guidance, and reporting dashboards to track trends, risks, and gaps.
  • As part of the team, you will contribute expertise to broader initiatives such as volunteer strategy and workforce pipeline partnerships.
  • You will coach and co-design leadership capability in workforce planning to drive organisational performance.
  • Ultimately, you will align our workforce strategies with the organisation's broader planning objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, analytics, organisational development, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in workforce planning, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights.
  • Proven experience collaborating and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Able to work comfortably in evolving and ambiguous environments.
  • Familiarity with recruitment, talent pipelines, and L&D as part of workforce strategy.
  • Project management experience within change or workforce transformation programs.
  • Previous exposure to the community services, health, or not-for-profit sector (highly regarded).
