
Highly Skilled Aircraft Structures Engineer Wanted

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as an aircraft maintenance engineer. The role involves ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft, working on various tasks including structures servicing, quality inspection, and completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structures aircraft and component servicing
- Provide direction and supervision as necessary
- Undertake structures Quality Inspection activities
- Completion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of activities, requiring the application of training provided in accordance with the appropriate documentation
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
- Liaise with 21J Design Organisation and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation in relation to repair design and incorporation
About You:
- Certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures)
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
- Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
- Hold a C class driver's license
- Ability to obtain an Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Elevated Work Platform TLILIC2005A or equivalent
- Work Safely at Heights RIIOHS204A or equivalent
- Composite repair training IAW DASR 145.A.30(f) AMC1. Composite Specialist Course (216309) or equivalent Adhesive Bonding Techniques (112570)
- Composite and Bonding recertification - currency within the last 3 years (36 months)
- Confined Space training
- Possess an Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
