Aircraft Technical Specialist

This role involves a high level of technical expertise in engineering principles, practices and procedures. Key responsibilities include the development and/or review of root-cause analysis on E-7A fleet data to identify/evaluate trends and opportunities to increase dispatch reliability.
You will work closely with stakeholders from the operator, contractors, Defence Regulator and aircraft OEM to lead engineering-based projects in support of Minor and Major Mechanical Projects. These projects aim to improve aircraft performance and reduce maintenance downtime.
As an Aircraft Technical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain Engineering Authority and Delegations on the E-7 platform. This will involve providing onsite engineering support to the deeper maintenance activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in mechanical systems engineering is essential for success in this role.
