Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME2/AME3)
to join our team in
(Amberley, QLD)
. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
- Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
- Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
- Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
- Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements
- Experience on C-27J technical experience is highly desirable (Type course preferred)
- Cert IV in Aviation (Mechanical or Structures)
- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
- Strong team player;
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Australian Resident
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
- Current Australian Driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain baseline clearance
