Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead our commercial construction estimating team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective cost plans, budgets, and competitive tender submissions for projects ranging from $1m to $30m.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct detailed trade breakups, scope reviews, and risk assessments to identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project handover and cost control.
  • Identify and implement cost efficiencies without compromising compliance or quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the estimating function, including systems and processes.
About You

You're a confident and experienced estimator who thrives in taking ownership of results. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a construction estimator (commercial, industrial, or multi-residential).
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and processes.
  • A strong network of suppliers and subcontractors in South East Queensland.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, implementing best practice processes.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
