Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator will work in a well-resourced and experienced team environment at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

The role involves planning of small-medium events, collaborating with clients to match their needs and venue product. This requires excellent communication skills, understanding and determining all event details through professional liaison with clients, suppliers and other members of the team.

Key responsibilities include maximising event yield through efficient and effective planning and targeted sales efforts, working independently with strong time management and organisation skills, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

A proven track record in achieving quality outcomes, meeting and exceeding personal and team business targets, and managing a demanding workload is essential. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker, able to initiate, implement and adapt to change.

This role requires advanced communication, interpersonal and computer-based office skills, including event booking software systems.

Working Hours

The position involves predominantly Monday to Friday work, but applicants must be available to work outside normal hours if required.
