The Senior Manager of Global IT Infrastructure and Operations:

This role involves strategic leadership in managing and optimizing the company's global IT infrastructure and operations. Responsibilities include oversight of Network Operations, High Performance Computing, Security Operations, Cloud/Server/Endpoint Management, and Helpdesk Operations.

  • Develop a strategic vision for global I&O that aligns with business goals and fosters technological innovation
  • Build strong relationships with business units and scientific community to understand their needs and ensure I&O services are aligned with business priorities
  • Manage the I&O budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Establish relationships with external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and performance

The ideal candidate will have expertise in business relationship management and stakeholder engagement, extensive experience with cloud platforms (primarily Azure) and on-premises infrastructure, and a strong understanding of network architecture, virtualization, and storage solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure and operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
