A leading fit-out and refurb contractor is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their team.
About the RoleThis key position will involve managing subcontract processes, negotiating and reviewing subcontract tenders, preparing accurate payment schedules, understanding and managing subcontractor contractual risk, and processing progress claims.
Responsibilities- Manage subcontract processes to ensure seamless execution
- Negotiate and review subcontract tenders to identify optimal solutions
- Prepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules to guarantee accuracy
- Monitor subcontractors to ensure they adhere to environmental commitments and responsibilities
- Prepare accurate payment schedules to facilitate efficient financial management
- Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk to minimize potential liabilities
- Process progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations
To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related field, minimum 2-3 years post graduate experience with a fit-out and refurb company, strong financial analysis and administrative focus, excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contracts administration, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
