Our Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment that unlocks the full potential of our team, delivering truly exceptional experiences for our guests.

Located in a prime position, our hotel is situated close to the city's commercial and transport hub, just a short stroll from Darling Harbour precinct and International Convention Centre.

As our Human Resources Manager, you will partner with our General Manager to bring to life and champion our Hotel's people strategy. You will take overall responsibility for HR Operations, including driving colleague engagement, supporting leadership teams, fostering productivity and high performance, mitigating employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with systems and processes.

**Your Key Responsibilities:**

  • Welcome and assist new colleagues in their onboarding and orientation process
  • Create programs to foster a positive work environment for every single employee
  • Support and administer annual team member satisfaction surveys
  • Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employee laws, policies, and procedures
  • Help create the Human Resources department plan and control expenses
  • Educate and develop managers on HR principles to foster productivity and enhance performance of the team
  • Work with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience

**What We Need From You:**

  • At least 2 years' experience as a HR professional
  • Previous exposure to such a role within Hotels/Hospitality would be highly regarded
  • Degree/qualifications in Human Resources preferred
  • A solid understanding of employee relations practices and business acumen is essential
  • A demonstrated capability of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
