Export Logistics Specialist

Rivalea is a leading Australian agri-food company, with extensive agricultural, processing and marketing interests that support high-quality pork production for both domestic and international markets.

The business has over 50 years of experience and operates across multiple farming, processing, and distribution sites in New South Wales and Victoria.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a process-driven Export Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the successful execution of export sea freight and air freight logistics.

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including shipping company personnel, transport companies, cold storage facilities, and customers.
  • Booking Cargo/Orders with relevant shipping lines or 3PLs.
  • Complete all shipping documentation for the markets/vessels, which may include: preparing forwarding instructions, obtaining original Bills of Lading; health certificates; invoices and packing lists; Certificates of Origin; Bank Drafts and Lodgements; Letters of Credit.
  • Complete any other documents relating to customer or country requirements.
  • Maintain internal systems relating to sales orders, invoices, and releases.
  • Monitor vessel ETD's and prioritize workload accordingly.
  • Allocation of orders to sites for packing in a timely manner.
  • Understand current freight rates for your allocated markets.
  • Assist other team members to ensure orders are shipped within the permitted time.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar Export role ideal, but not required.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with basic cause & effect relationships.
  • Responds calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S, Quality Assurance, and People & Performance procedures.
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to maintain records and analyse data to produce accurate reports.
