Job Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a 5-day week commitment of 76 hours per fortnight.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless management of Theatre supplies, directly impacting patient care quality.

Key responsibilities include conducting regular stock counts and reordering supplies to maintain optimal levels, as well as monitoring and adjusting minimum and maximum stock levels in response to usage fluctuations.

Daily communication with team members and PeriOp staff is crucial to address any stock-related issues that may impact patient care.

Safety is paramount in this role, requiring adherence to manual handling policy and procedures for all lifting, pushing, and pulling processes to ensure personal and team safety.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Physical capability to handle manual tasks and lift items as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Australian working rights are essential.
