Our Manufacturing & Maintenance – Transport business is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator, to join the team in Bohle, Townsville.
Your Role :
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with contractors & suppliers to ensure the timely provision of goods & services for projects & site maintenance.
This role supports the Area Business Manager and teams, assisting with site business development, bids / tenders, and new system implementations.
The Coordinator manages purchasing of materials for production / projects as per schedules or requisitions, sourcing and coordinating with suppliers to meet UGL's quality, availability, delivery, cost, warranties, and suitability standards.
About You :
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Commercial Management or Business (highly desirable)
5-10 years of experience in a similar Supply Chain role
Proficient in procurement and inventory control practices
Experience in contract negotiation and administration
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, email, and MRP software
Experience in rail, automotive, military, defence, avionics, or safety-critical industries
