About the Role- Job Description: Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures, acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team, working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans that meet the physical, emotional, social and cultural needs of residents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies that enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
- Supervise and coach personal care staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to residents.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, current AHPRA registration, thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice in aged care.
- A competitive hourly pay rate of $42.76-$53.46 per hour, plus superannuation and casual loadings.
