This is a captivating opportunity to make meaningful contributions to a project focused on accelerating ternary neural networks using FPGA devices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering outcomes in a research project, working collaboratively with colleagues and postgraduates, preparing materials for publications, and collaborating with industry partners.

  • Design and implement FPGA-based accelerators for AI applications, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business growth.
  • Develop and optimize machine learning models using Python and PyTorch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in complex projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to advance research in AI hardware acceleration, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
About You

We are looking for a researcher with:

  • Strong experience in FPGA design, machine learning or a related field, with a proven ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in developing machine learning models using Python and PyTorch, with a focus on optimizing performance and accuracy.
  • Expertise in two or more of the following technical areas: design of FPGA-based accelerators, high-level synthesis for FPGA design (HLS), quantisation of deep neural networks, large language models (LLMs).
