This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based individualised behaviour support plans within required timeframes. You'll work collaboratively with individuals, families, service providers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance across various settings, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement high-quality behaviour support plans that meet individual needs.
- Deliver training and support to participants, staff, and families in positive behaviour support and specialist topics.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and integrated care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist individuals and families in identifying needs, developing goals, and implementing strategies for home and community settings.
About You:
- Have experience working as an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, assessed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate high-level critical thinking and analytical skills to make informed decisions.
- Be an expert in Positive Behaviour Support, including functional behaviour assessments, intervention, and service delivery practices.
