Job Overview

The Operations Management position involves overseeing site activities related to receiving, processing, and distribution. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, leading a team, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers and the operations manager in regard to ship arrivals
  • Organising and supervising yard staff to receive vehicles, including labour planning
  • Organising storage yard to accommodate incoming shipments
  • Monitor and review team performance
  • Provide strong leadership to the team
  • Coordinate regular meetings and follow up on health and safety activities
  • Coach and mentor the team in developing their skills
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing team
