We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Officer to join our Engineering and Operations team at Raytheon Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to maintain asset serviceability, conducting technical information reviews, and providing technical guidance and resources to equipment operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to maintain asset serviceability, including conducting technical information reviews and technical planning and investigation activities.
  • Provide technical guidance, resources, and training to equipment operators.
  • Maintain engineering records within the sustainment domain to ensure compliance with sustainment engineering policy and procedure.
  • Assist in issue identification and detailed problem reporting.
  • Develop technical artefacts such as engineering change proposals, design records, requests for variances, modification instructions, and various technical reports.
Requirements
  • CERT IV, Diploma, Associate Engineering Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with engineering change management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and Authorised Maintenance Organisations (AMOs).
  • Experience with technical reporting, planning, problem dispositioning, and implementation activities.
  • Experience and responsibility for making moderate improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the work area.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Windchill PTC, Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE), and Atlassian JIRA Project Management Software.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
Clearance Requirements

Applicants must have at least Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1 level.
