BINGO is a pioneering waste management company with operations in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. As we embark on an exciting chapter of growth, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax and Treasury Specialist to drive our financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute tax, treasury, and insurance strategies that align with our financial goals.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, maintaining compliance with all regulations.
  • Implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize financial performance.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow, preparing accurate forecasts for financial obligations.
  • Oversee debt management and implement hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead internal and external audits for tax, treasury, and insurance functions, ensuring effective communication.
  • Identify and implement improvements and automation in tax reporting, treasury management, and insurance claims.
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements and maintain a strong internal control framework.
  • Assess tax-related implications and advise management and other departments to achieve beneficial outcomes.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate and reduce their impact on the business.

About You:

  • Must hold a CPA or CA certification.
  • 10 years of experience in tax compliance, treasury management, or financial accounting; strong candidates with fewer years will be considered.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail in financial reporting and risk management.
  • Strong financial systems and modeling tool skills (Excel, Power BI, report writing, and technical skills).
  • Strong communicator adept at engaging with financial and non-financial stakeholders, and managing relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
