Job Overview
Our client, a prominent player in the industry, is seeking an experienced Tax Governance Leader to join their team. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive tax strategy and governance across the organization.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services. Key responsibilities include preparing direct tax compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring accurate and timely tax effect accounting calculations and reporting, and calculating and processing PAYG instalment income in a timely manner. Additionally, the Tax Governance Leader will support ATO and foreign revenue engagement, provide guidance to other members of the Tax team as required, and develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves providing tax advice to the business and implementing business line strategy, as well as managing tax governance and risk management activities, including execution of tax policies.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, superannuation tax experience, advanced Excel capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong commercial acumen.

Compensation and Benefits
