The Chief Sonographer is responsible for the daily operational management of patient-focused, high-quality medical ultrasound services within the Shoalhaven HUB and other sites as required. The role involves developing and maintaining a clinically appropriate sonography service, providing high-quality training for trainees enrolled in the ISMI Medical Ultrasound Training Program, and supporting the Chief Radiographer and District Imaging Executive in operational and strategic matters.

Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and appropriate service delivery, maintaining a multidisciplinary approach focused on patient experience, and advising on clinical service development, workforce, and referral patterns.
