Blue Mountains Lead Mental Health Nurse Job

We are seeking an experienced mental health nurse to join our team in the Blue Mountains District. As a lead mental health nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will have current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and lead the multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
